Painted glass
Painted Glass - a precise colour that stays true year after year
When a colour has to match an exact project or brand specification – and hold that match for years – ordinary coatings that peel or fade simply aren’t good enough. Since March 2011, SIA Glāzeri BT has offered glass painting on the only painting line of its kind in Latvia, providing two industrial methods within a single facility.
Painting is carried out using ceramic paint, applied by silk-screen printing or roller coating. After treatment with ceramic paint, the glass is mandatorily tempered – at high temperature, the paint forms a permanent, monolithic bond with the glass surface.
Colour selection from the RAL catalogue – precise conformity with project requirements
Ceramic paint combined with tempering delivers a long-term bond between the paint and the glass – colour doesn’t wear off or shift over time
Two industrial painting methods available within a single facility – flexibility depending on surface area and design complexity
Full or partial surface coating with a defined pattern or ornament
Organic paint is a suitable solution for interior elements and projects where the glass won’t face intense UV or mechanical stress. If the glass will be used on a façade, outdoors, or somewhere with higher durability requirements, choose ceramic paint combined with tempering – it guarantees the colour won’t wear off or shift over the years.
